Bentonite Waterproof Blanket - Reinforced Composite Impermeable Material
Product Description
Product Introduction
This reinforced bentonite waterproof blanket is an upgraded version of traditional BWB, which adds a layer of high-strength geogrid between the bentonite layer and the geotextile. The geogrid enhances the tensile strength and tear resistance of the product, while the natural bentonite still maintains its excellent water-swelling and impermeable performance. The product is designed for projects with higher requirements for structural strength and waterproof reliability.
Product Features
High tensile strength: The added geogrid significantly improves the product's tensile strength and tear resistance, suitable for large-area laying and areas prone to deformation.
Reliable impermeability: The bentonite particles are evenly distributed and firmly bonded with the geotextile, forming a continuous impermeable layer that effectively blocks water seepage.
Easy to construct: Lightweight and flexible, easy to cut and lay, reducing construction difficulty and improving construction efficiency.
Long service life: The composite structure is not easy to aging and damage, and the waterproof effect can last for more than 50 years under normal use conditions.
Application Fields
Applied to large-scale water conservancy projects (such as dams, sluices), highway and railway subgrade anti-seepage, landfill leachate collection and treatment systems, industrial wastewater storage tanks, and coastal reclamation projects. It is particularly suitable for projects with large structural spans and high requirements for anti-seepage and structural stability.
Product Installation
Base surface treatment: Remove debris and sharp objects on the base surface, level and compact the base surface, and the allowable error of the base surface flatness is within ±5cm.
Laying sequence: Lay from the lower part to the upper part along the slope, and the horizontal laying should be from the upstream to the downstream. The overlap width of the longitudinal overlap is 20cm, and the transverse overlap is 15cm.
Connection treatment: Apply a layer of bentonite paste on the overlap area to enhance the impermeability of the connection. Use fixing nails to fix the overlap area, with a fixing density of 2-3 nails per square meter.
Inspection and backfilling: After the entire laying is completed, conduct a comprehensive inspection to check for wrinkles, damage, and insufficient overlap. After passing the inspection, backfill with non-corrosive soil, and the backfilling should be carried out layer by layer with compaction.
