UV-Resistant HDPE Geomembrane with Excellent Chemical Resistance and 700% Elongation At Break for Open-Air Mine Facilities
Product Description
UV-Resistant HDPE Geomembrane for Open-Air Mine Facilities
The UV-Resistant HDPE Geomembrane is a professional anti-seepage material engineered specifically for open-air mine facilities. Manufactured from high-quality HDPE resin with high-concentration UV stabilizers (carbon black content ≥2.5%) and anti-aging agents, this product withstands prolonged exposure to intense sunlight (UV radiation intensity ≥30W/m²) and harsh outdoor conditions including high temperatures, rain, wind, and frost without aging, brittle cracking, or performance degradation.

Key Features & Benefits
Exceptional UV Resistance: High-concentration UV stabilizers absorb and scatter ultraviolet rays, protecting HDPE molecular structure and ensuring over 40 years of service life in open-air environments
Reliable Anti-Seepage Protection: Ultra-low permeability coefficient effectively prevents leakage of harmful substances from mine facilities into the environment
Superior Temperature Adaptability: Withstands extreme temperatures from -60℃ to 80℃, adapting to climate variations across different mining regions
Strong Chemical & Mechanical Resistance: Suitable for harsh conditions in open-air mining facilities with excellent durability
Application Scenarios
This geomembrane is primarily used in open-air mine facilities including tailings ponds, waste rock dumps, storage pits for ore and materials, and wastewater treatment ponds. It's also suitable for anti-seepage applications in chemical storage yards and protective lining of open-air pipelines within mining areas. Widely applied across various mine types including open-pit metal mines, coal mines, and non-metallic mines. Additionally, it serves temporary open-air facilities during mine construction, ensuring environmental protection throughout the construction period.
Installation & Usage Guidelines
Installation Notes: Avoid laying during strong midday sunlight to prevent thermal expansion/contraction affecting weld quality. Ensure base surface is flat and free of sharp objects, using protective layers when necessary. Weld overlaps with HDPE welding machines and conduct air pressure testing on all welds to ensure leak-proof installation. Cover exposed geomembrane edges with soil or gravel to protect from sunlight and mechanical damage.
Usage & Maintenance: Regularly inspect for aging signs including discoloration, brittleness, and cracks, replacing damaged areas promptly. Avoid using chemicals such as solvents and strong oxidants near the geomembrane to prevent corrosion.
