Euro Standard PVC Geomembrane - Chemical Resistant Barrier for Industrial Applications
Product Description
Textured HDPE Geomembrane for Mine Slope Anti-Seepage
Product Overview
The Textured HDPE Geomembrane is a specialized anti-seepage material engineered for slope applications in mining operations. Manufactured from premium HDPE resin with UV stabilizers and anti-aging additives, this geomembrane features a textured surface on one or both sides created through specialized particle addition or embossing processes. This surface texture significantly enhances the friction coefficient between the geomembrane and slope surfaces, providing superior stability compared to smooth geomembranes.
Technical Specifications:
• Thickness Range: 0.8mm to 3.0mm
• Surface Roughness: Ra ≥3.0μm
• Maximum Slope Ratio: 1:1.2
• Friction Coefficient: ≥0.5
• Permeability Coefficient: ≤1.0*10⁻¹³ cm/s
• Temperature Resistance: -60℃ to 80℃
Key Features & Benefits
Enhanced Anti-Slip Performance: Textured surface increases friction coefficient (≥0.5) to prevent slippage on steep slopes up to 1:1.2 ratio, ensuring system integrity
Reliable Anti-Seepage Protection: Ultra-low permeability coefficient effectively isolates mining chemicals and prevents soil and groundwater contamination
Superior Weather Resistance: Withstands extreme temperatures (-60℃ to 80℃) and prolonged UV exposure in harsh mining environments
Excellent Weldability & Mechanical Strength: Ensures easy installation and long-term durability for extended service life
Application Scenarios
This geomembrane is specifically designed for slope anti-seepage applications in mining operations, including:
Mine tailings dam slopes
Waste rock dump slopes
Open-pit mine pit slopes
Leachate pond slopes
Slope-type wastewater storage ponds
Slope-type chemical storage ditches
Suitable for various mine types including metal mines, coal mines, and non-metallic mines, particularly where anti-slip performance is critical on steep slopes.
Installation Guidelines
For optimal performance, follow these installation procedures:
Position textured surface upward (contacting slope soil) to maximize friction; for containment structures, face textured surface toward soil or filler
Ensure slope surface is smooth and free of sharp protrusions
Lay geomembrane from bottom to top with 15-20cm overlap between adjacent membranes
Use HDPE welding equipment for seams, employing specialized nozzles for textured surfaces
Secure top and bottom edges with anchor grooves or bolts to prevent displacement
Conduct comprehensive leak testing (air pressure or water filling tests) post-installation
Avoid dragging heavy objects across the surface to protect the textured layer
